Peter learns about a man who was convicted of robbery and tries to escape prison so he can prove his innocence. Intrigued, Peter breaks in and soon confirms that he is telling the truth.

A clever criminal and his gang abduct Peter's niece Sally from her school. They contact Peter and his sister Diane, offering to return the girl in return for a meeting with Peter.

A gangster forces one of Peter's staff to develop a mathematical system in order to win at the roulette table. In the meantime, he holds his daughter Suzy as a hostage.

The wealthy Lucian Currie has his butler steal Peter's papers, and forces the Invisible Man to kill his elderly partner by hitting him in the chest and inducing a heart attack.
