An entertaining evangelistic movie about one man's dreams that recalls a bygone era while conveying relevant truths for today.

A strong Christian worldview with strong redemptive, moral values including positive references to prayer and forgiveness, conversion to faith in Christ is the center of much of the drama ("That’s all there is to being a Christian, just asking Jesus to forgive you for your sins"), and the main character worries about following God’s plan; no profane or obscene language; a live snake is thrown at a member of the team, a young boy is hit in the head with a baseball and knocked unconscious, two men get into a fight with a baseball bat, but no gore; no sex; some young boys are seen swimming in their underwear; many people are seen drinking moonshine during the Prohibition era, the main character drinks several times throughout the film and is shown playing (or attempting to play) a baseball game while drunk; no smoking or drug use; no other immoral activity.
