Ernst finds himself prisoner on The Viper. Parsons informs Scaggs all about the Robinson family, who are surprised at night and overrun by the pirates.

Ernst escapes the pirate ship and almost rescues the family but is quickly overcome by the pirates. Scaggs finds David guilty and sentences him to hang.
Princess from the Sea: Part 1
The family continue their life on the island and decide to build a fort as a lookout - and to defend themselves in the event of any more attacks. Ernst sees a girl arrive alone in a canoe.
