It's 1856. A Chinese storeowner and his grandson are being intimidated by a local gang of racist teenagers led by the bully, Tully. Jess looks for a way to ensure Tully is taught a lesson.
Mended Sole
It's 100 B.C. While working as an apprentice shoemaker, Jess becomes caught in a feud over a broken sandal. This begets heartbreak for two lovers who fail to receive the blessings of their fathers.
