Connie was praying outside an abortion clinic when she realized something about the women going inside: “…they weren’t evil. They were really scared.” On her way home she prayed to God that He would “make her a better option than abortion” for these women. God answered, she listened.
An immigrant to Chicago, Pablo Perez was recruited into gang life at a young age eventually occupying the powerful position of the gang’s leader. By a miracle, he walked away. Today, he is the Chaplain at Cook County Jail, bringing the hope and light of Christ to those in most need.
In 1958, a fire at Our Lady of the Angels school killed 95 children and teachers. Devastating the community they closed their doors. Fifty years later, one passionate man, Fr. Lombardo, has turned it into bustling ministry serving over 700+ families.
