The Floods decide to have fireworks display in their garden. MANDY goes to invite everyone, but SAM explains that he is on duty so can't come but hands MANDY firework safety leaflet to give to Mike.
PENNY and HELEN go for a hike in the mountains but PENNY slips and hurts her ankle. When fog sets in they realize they're going to need help, but the PENNY's flare isn't visible through the fog.
It's MIKE and HELEN's wedding anniversary and MIKE wants to throw a garden party but doesn't want HELEN to lift a finger, even when it's obvious he needs help.
CHARLIE takes the kids out on a fishing expedition. NORMAN is convinced that he's the best fisherman although he gets caught out when CHARLIE finds him with fish-fingers on the end of his line.
NORMAN wants to convince JAMES and SARAH that there's a dinosaur in a cave on Pontypandy beach so he fashions himself a dinosaur footprint out of drift wood and makes dinosaur noises.
NORMAN is building a new go-cart and wants it to be the best ever. After a precarious test drive with the resuscitation dummy NORMAN is certain that the cart is safe, but he forgot about breaks.
MANDY has got NORMAN a model aeroplane kit for his birthday.
NORMAN accidentally kicks his football at the fire alarm in the shop, cracking the glass and setting it off. DILYS confiscates his football as a consequence.
SAM and ELVIS find WOOLLY lose on the road. The sheep has escaped through a broken gate so SAM takes her back to the PRICE'S house in JUPITER until the gate is fixed.
It's Mother's Day and NORMAN is making a poor show of treating DILYS. Instead of allowing MIKE to help him flex his woodwork skills and make something for his mum.
A ship has shed its cargo off Pontypandy bay. PENNY is on hand in NEPTUNE to make sure there's no danger while CHARLIE warns JAMES and SARAH that they should be careful on the beach.
It's a very hot day in Pontypandy but TREVOR is refusing to accept advice about his old bus not being up to the trek up Pontypandy mountain.
