Apostle Peter And the Last Supper

This movie is a classic, almost Biblical conversion story. When the Apostle Peter gets captured by two Roman jailers, his retelling of Christ’s life works in the hearts of the jailers. The movie’s worldview is distinctly Christian and moral. Faith and love for Christ are at the core. When Peter is threatened with crucifixion, he is unafraid of death. When Peter is tempted by a demon, he trusts in Christ’s power to win the battle. There are no foul language concerns, but there are occasional moments of violence in the film. One of the guards punches the other, Peter cuts off the ear of a Roman guard, and Judas is seen hanging from a tree. There is no sexual content and no nudity. Drinking wine is show occasionally-a guard drinks it outside of the cell, and the disciples share in communion. No one is ever drunk on screen; and there is no smoking or drug use. Christian persecution is present throughout the film. Various Roman characters degrade Christians, but they are always painted as the "bad guys." One character has a long history of lewd behavior with women and stealing, but he eventually converts and repents.
